Tailored Approaches for Every Dog

Small beagle

"William loves the training!  He was so good on his walk this morning, paying attention and sitting at every gate.  I can now leave him for longer periods of time. He's going great with your plan.

We appreciate you very much!"

Carol & William

A spaniel

"I worked with a another trainer for months without much success.  By the end of the first session with Marc, we had made so much progress.  Polly was able to stay calm in the presence of a large off-lead dog which was great!"

Joe & Polly

A Huntaway

"Barking was his problem and I wanted to know how to handle this and understand about specific dog behaviours. This is exactly what has Marc done. I would  recommend Marc without reservation. I wish I had gone there first rather than searching You Tube videos."

Kay & Max

Things to know about training with us

At Much Ado About Dogs, we're all about being upfront and making sure you and your dog have the best experience possible. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Honest Expectations - Dog training isn't always a one-size-fits-all solution. If we hit a challenge that's beyond our expertise, we'll be honest and help you find someone who can assist.

  • Everyday Focus - We specialize in helping pets and companion animals thrive in everyday situations. We're not the go-to for competitive obedience or bite-work, our speciality is making daily life with your dog better.

  • Team Effort - Training doesn't stop when the session ends. For long-term success, it's important for you to keep practicing at home. We're here to guide you, but your involvement is key.

  • Straight Talking - We believe in being honest and direct. Sometimes that means giving feedback that's tough to hear, but it's all part of helping you and your dog succeed. It's never personal - just part of the process.
